Metro Boomin and Future’s New Album “We Don’t Care About You” Debuts at No.1

Metro Boomin and Future New Album

The collaborative album "We Don't Trust You" by Future and Metro Boomin debuts at the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart 2024. It marks the biggest week of the year in terms of equivalent album units earned, as well as streams generated by the album's songs. This achievement grants Future his ninth No. 1 album and Metro Boomin his fourth. The album starts off with 251,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. during the week ending March 28, primarily driven by streaming activity.

The songs comprising the album are:

1. "We Don’t Trust You"
2. "Young Metro" featuring The Weeknd
3. "Ice Attack"
4. "Type S**t" featuring Travis Scott and Playboi Carti
5. "Claustrophobic"
6. "Like That" featuring Kendrick Lamar
7. "Slimed In"
8. "Magic Don Juan (Princess Diana)"
9. "Cinderella" featuring Travis Scott
10. "Runnin Outta Time"
11. "Fried (She’s a Vibe)"
12. "Ain’t No Love"
13. "Everyday Hustle" featuring Rick Ross
14. "GTA"
15. "Seen It All"
16. "WTFYM"
17. "Where My Twin At"

Of the 251,000 units earned, 245,000 are from streaming equivalent album units (SEA), equivalent to 324.31 million on-demand official streams for the album's 17 songs. Traditional album sales contribute 4,500 units, as the album was exclusively available for digital download through traditional digital retailers like iTunes and the Amazon Digital Music Store. Additionally, track-equivalent album (TEA) units contribute 1,500.

This release marks the largest week of 2024, Metro Boomin's biggest week ever, and the second-largest week for Future, surpassed only by his joint effort with Drake on "What a Time to Be Alive," which garnered 375,000 units in its opening week on October 10, 2015.

Notably, the SEA total of 245,000 translates to the largest streaming week for any album since Taylor Swift's "1989 (Taylor’s Version)" accrued 375.49 million streams for its 21 songs on the November 11, 2023 chart. "We Don't Trust You" also secures the biggest streaming week for any album by Future or Metro Boomin.

The album features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Playboi Carti, Rick Ross, Travis Scott, and The Weeknd. Initially unveiled on March 22 without revealing the featured artists, the tracklist was later updated to include them. Furthermore, it was announced on March 8 as the first of a two-album project, with its sequel set to release on April 12.
